Wednesday LOVE Day I don't know if that is a real day or not but I am going to go with it.

I was in class today, looking over some papers from the inbox (that were stacked a mile high) and stamping them with my little "Mrs. Moorman" stamp...when suddenly it hit me.  I LOVE THIS STAMP!  It has made my life SO much easier and I just wanted to share.

There really is nothing revolutionary about it.  It is a simple stamp I made with Vista Print that says "Checked by Mrs. Moorman"  That is it.  When I look over something that doesn't need to be graded, but I want the students (and parents) to know I actually did look at it, I put this little stamp on it and, viola, it is done!  Pure, simple, love.

What is something you love this Wednesday?

  1. So I just have to say that I LOVE this idea! I am a relatively new teacher and I have struggled with what to put on papers and things that I check but don't grade. After reading your post, I hopped over to Vista Print and made my own stamp. Thanks for the great idea!

  2. I will be adding the to my Vista Print order this year:)

  3. Sounds a lot easier than just a check I place in the upper right-hand corner. Thanks for the suggestion.

  4. I love your stamp too! So simple, yet so effective! I'm getting one for sure. :)

  5. What a fantastic idea!! I used to have a bold red LATE stamp, but that was a little less sweet than yours. :-)

  6. Something I love is also from Vista Print...I made my Reading Strategies (for our state test) into magnets! LOVE 'em!

  7. oh my gosh, pure genius!! I am getting one too--just added it to my summer list. Thanks Steph! :)

  8. As a new teacher I love reading your blog! I got so excited when I saw your previous grading stamps that I read every single thing you've ever posted on your blog! Here's another thing to add to my vista print order for this summer. Thank you!!

  9. What a great idea! Definitely adding it to the Vista Print list this summer :o) I would love it if you would link this up on Monday for my "Must Have Mondays" linky!

  10. The only stamp I have is one that says "Done Together in Class" that I can stamp on pages that we do together, they hand in for credit, and I don't want to check before I send home. That way if there's something wrong, I can blame the kid for not paying attention in class ;) Might have to add this one for the ones they do independently!
