I have students write a description of setting in a piece in progress then illustrate their words then look for gaps between words and images. If they draw things that do not appear in the description, they go back and revise.Robynhttps://www.room2ruminationsawritingworkshopround-up.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633682260880990043.post-76057827126781352032019-11-23T04:49:32.369-08:002019-11-23T04:49:32.369-08:00I’m thinking of using this as a writing lesson for...I’m thinking of using this as a writing lesson for a fictional narrative and using descriptive language. They were worried about not being a "good draw-er." They worried about what I wanted. I kept telling them to go back to the text. Finally, one of my most difficult said, "Hey, this turned out better that I thought it was going to." They are looking pretty good.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08846309876625894842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633682260880990043.post-2344223046349225072017-01-09T14:45:53.882-08:002017-01-09T14:45:53.882-08:00What a fantastic idea.
