So important to get kids thinking about these things in the beginning of the year. Now, I'm going to print the letters and change up one of my boards at school. We start Tuesday!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633682260880990043.post-69850842190869351742015-09-04T08:08:36.734-07:002015-09-04T08:08:36.734-07:00Superb lesson! His "mouse stories" all teach life lessons! Wemberly Worried, Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse, and Julius can also be geared towards our upper grades!<br />I love the idea of writing the evidence on a Band-Aid!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16583502610856801805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633682260880990043.post-18449397712807452672015-09-01T18:27:38.277-07:002015-09-01T18:27:38.277-07:00Love this book! I start with a smooth heart and go around the circle - kids can share something hurtful that was said to them and I wrinkle/fold the heart. Then we share something nice; heart gets unfolded; we talk about why the heart changes. Great lesson!Susan K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07383261948584242729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633682260880990043.post-65818612269778012312015-09-01T03:47:07.870-07:002015-09-01T03:47:07.870-07:00Thank you for sharing this lesson!
