Happy New Year...Currently!

Happy New Year everyone!  What an amazing year 2013 was for me.  The biggest accomplishment this year was the birth of this wonderful little baby boy who is now the light of our family.  He just makes our house feel "complete" and we are all totally in love.

But now here, on January 1, I thought I would start off the year with what I was doing Currently by linking up with Farley at Oh Boy, 4th Grade.

Listening -- That's self explanatory.  :)  My kids are really into playing Disneyland.  They like to pretend they are waiting in line.  I don't know why.  They never actually make in on the ride in their fantasy, they just pretend to wait in the big, long line.

Loving -- I know I have been on maternity leave, but this last three weeks of winter break is really soothing to me.  I know my time off is up, so I am just relishing every moment at home.

Thinking -- sleep.  The ever elusive sleep.

Wanting -- I have seen that Jessica Simpson Weight Watchers commercial a bazillion times and I really need to join up.  I did it before, even made lifetime member, but I am just unmotivated to stick with the routine since being pregnant three times.  Now, it is a whole new program and I think I am finally ready to get back to it.

Needing -- doesn't a house with 3 kids ALWAYS need to be cleaned??

Memory -- I love thinking back to the cabins we used to rent in Big Bear growing up.  It was the only time we would ever see snow and was such a different life experience than we normally got at home.  One day, I will start that off again with my own kids.

So what are you Currently up to?  Here's to a happy, safe, and healthy 2014!

  1. Hello, I want to give a late congratulations on your baby. He is so cute. Yes, I am like you I wanted to go to sleep, but I got a lot of stuff to do.

  2. Absolutely adorable picture of you and baby boy! Who needs a clean house when you have your three sweeties to play with and love!

    1. I figure one day, when I am old and grey, I can clean my house. (or probably just pay someone to do it by then ;) )

  3. Hi Stephanie! Happy New Year and I hope you have TONS of blessings if you try the "Blessings Jar" like we are this year! I am doing it for the whole family to put blessings in so that we can share all of our blessings throughout the year to keep us positive instead of dwelling on the negative PTSD has brought to our family. We need some positive for sure! I love the picture of your little baby, he is so adorable and I know he fills your life with joy and happiness!

    Happy new year, Stephanie.

  5. Congratulations on your new baby! I remember those sleepless nights well! Make sure to nap when you can! Happy New Year!

  6. What an adorable picture! I agree that cleaning SHOULD take a backseat to those sweet babies! Happy New Year!
